June 24, 2017 – EVLT Ranching Heritage Tour Returns
What: Connect with our local ranching community by joining Eagle Valley Land Trust for a day-long bus tour. Visit two iconic ranches and learn from the families who live and work the land. You will hear about the challenges, successes, and changes they have seen in the ranching community and enjoy a scrumptious ranch lunch. This year’s ranches include Haymeadow Ranch and the Gates Ranch, in honor of the late Bud Gates. We’ll also take a look at the proposed Hardscrabble Ranch project, consisting of nearly 1,500 acres along Brush Creek Road.
When: June 24, 2017 from 8:30am – 4pm
Where: Meet at the Eagle County parking lot just east of the county fairgrounds.
How: Cost is $100 per person for early registration ($110 after June 18th). Please call 970-748-7654 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
SCHOLARSHIPS Available – In the interest of making sure this tour is accessible to everyone, we will offer 5 free tickets to the best 250 word essays submitted via email to email@example.com by June 20, 2017.
