Farm To Fork Featuring Garden to Glass 2017
Thank you those who attended Farm to Fork and Garden to Glass. The event raised over $100,000 for EVLT.
Even if you could not attend Garden to Glass or Farm to Fork, it is because of supporters like you that we will conserve forever even more of our cherished lands in the years to come.
I wanted to take a moment not only to thank all our supporters but to call your attention to some of the stars of the evening. Of course, it was great to see Dr. Steinberg in attendance. He is credited with taking the land trust from its foundation to a highly professional, fully functioning land trust in the 1990s. Much of what you see in EVLT today was created under his tenure as board president.
I also wanted to highlight each business that donated their time and beverage costs to compete in the Garden to Glass competition. Please patronize these businesses and tell them you appreciated their contributions to the land trust:

Congratulations to Mixologists Ryan Suoto and Scott Robinson from The Rose for winning the grand prize for the best cocktail creation (as voted by you, the attendees) using locally sourced lavender.
I’d also like to thank the Scudder and Webster families for allowing us to hold the event on their property. The views to the Sawatch Range were exquisite and the property makes for a great story about some of the important future conservation work for EVLT.
And finally, a big thank you to Eric Berg of Vail Catering Concepts for creating an inspiring menu of locally sourced ingredients.
