The quarry at Horn Ranch produced stones for Denver’s Brown Palace Hotel and several other historic buildings in Denver. Participants will learn about a unique part of Eagle County history and enjoy views of Red Canyon. Horn Ranch Open Space is protected forever through a partnership between Eagle County Open Space and Eagle Valley Land Trust. We are able to access the private portion of Horn Ranch through an agreement with the landowner.
