Summer is a beautiful and busy time in Colorado. Take a break from your day to get outside to recharge and enjoy the vibrant ecosystems in our backyard.
Join Eagle Valley Land Trust, Eagle Valley Outdoor Movement, Hike it Out, Las Chicas Trepadoras, and Nurtured By Nature Forest Therapy to learn about the wellness benefits of slowing down in nature.This event is reserved for women ages 16 and older in our community.
When: Thursday, August 8 12pm-1:30pm
Where: We will be meeting at the Eagle River Preserve (Edwards) summer parking area. The Eagle River Preserve is located on the South side of Hwy 6, approximately 200 yards West of the Edwards Access Road that runs south from Exit 163 on I 70. Click here for a map
What to Bring: We may encounter unpredictable weather and conditions in the field. Those interested should come prepared to spend one and a half hours outside with sun protection, water, proper layers for Colorado weather, sturdy waterproof shoes, and trekking poles, if desired.
Weather: This program is weather-dependent, please check EVLT’s Facebook page on the day of the hike for information if there is inclement weather.
