Have you wanted to go horseback riding but haven’t had the means or opportunity? Is visiting Sweetwater Lake still an unchecked box on your bucket list? Then join the Eagle Valley Land Trust for a special horseback riding event with A.J. Brink Outfitters at Sweetwater Lake! EVLT is committed to expanding access to the outdoors for all in our community, and we’re pleased to offer this program free of charge thanks to funding from the Sweetwater Lake Stewardship & Equity Fund. Where / Dónde: Sweetwater Lake Resort north of Dotsero, CO. We will meet in the parking area by A. J. Brink Outfitters. / Sweetwater Lake Resort al norte de Dotsero, CO. Nos reuniremos en el área de estacionamiento junto a A. J. Brink Outfitters.

What to wear and expect / Qué ponerse y esperar: Dress for the season in proper layers and wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. / Vístete para la temporada con capas adecuadas y usa pantalones largos y zapatos cerrados. 

What to bring / Qué traer: Sun protection and a full water bottle. EVLT will provide snacks and drinks, and we encourage you to pack a picnic lunch to enjoy after the ride! / Protección solar y una botella llena de agua. EVLT proporcionará un refrigerio y bebidas, y ¡te animamos a que traigas un almuerzo tipo picnic para disfrutar después del paseo!

This event is free and open to the public but space is limited and registration is required. Please email community@evlt.org or call (970) 748-7654 for more information. Although we love dogs, they can have an impact, especially for wildlife. Please leave your furry friends at home.
