LEARN ABOUT THE LEGACY OF RANCHING CULTURE

These properties are conserved forever by EVLT. While most of them do not provide public access, they offer other public benefits. Ranching families help define the character of our community, and their lands support livestock and wildlife that feed us. However, their lands are increasingly subject to buyout by land speculators seeking to build. By conserving these lands, we ensure continued agricultural use and conserve ranching culture, agricultural production, scenic views, healthy rivers, and critical wildlife habitat.
