Susie Kincade, nature based personal coach, founder of Women’s Empowerment Workshop, and environmental activist, will lead a lively exploration of riparian areas, and their importance to wildlife, some Eagle River history, and a sensory walk that ends with a water celebration on the banks of the Eagle river. All ages welcome. Be ready to get your feet wet!

The Eagle Valley Land Trust and the Eagle River Watershed Council are co-presenting this event as a way to show our community the many different benefits brought by land and rivers conservation.

The Eagle River Preserve is preserved forever through a partnership between Eagle Valley Land Trust and Eagle County Open Space.

When: 6:00pm, July 7th, 2021

Where: Eagle River Preserve

Bring: We will be encountering unpredictable weather and conditions in the field. Those interested should come prepared to spend 2 hours outside with sun protection, water, proper layers for Colorado weather, sturdy hiking shoes, and trekking poles, if desired. Although we love dogs, they can have an impact, especially for wildlife. Please leave your furry friends at home.

Weather: This event is weather-dependent, please check EVLT’s Facebook page on the day of the event for information if there is inclement weather.
