Community Land Connection Series – West Avon Preserve Restoration – Wednesday, July 15th, 2020

West Avon Preserve is a beautiful and easily accessible open space. In recent years, noxious weeds have taken over some of the surrounding landscape. As a result, Eagle Valley Land Trust and the Town of Avon are working together on this project to help solve these issues.

Come out and help restore this integral resource for the entire community to enjoy!

When: Wednesday, July 15th, 9am – 12pm

Where: West Avon Preserve

Bring: We will be encountering unpredictable weather and conditions in the field. Those interested should come prepared to spend three hours outside with sun protection, water, proper layers for Colorado weather, sturdy waterproof shoes, and leather gloves. In accordance with the current public health order, we ask that you please bring a face covering and hand sanitizer.

Weather: This project is weather-dependent, please check EVLT’s Facebook page on the day of the hike for information if there is inclement weather.

Please email community@evlt.org for more information and to reserve your spot.  Although we love dogs, they can have an impact, especially for wildlife. Please leave your furry friends at home.
