Fall Forest Bathing

This program is FULL. To add your name to the waitlist, please email community@evlt.org.
Celebrate the breathtaking colors of autumn with a forest bathing experience at beautiful Maloit Park.
The concept of forest bathing emerged from the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or “taking in the forest atmosphere.” At its core, forest bathing means spending time immersed in nature, consciously connecting with the sights, sounds, smells, and textures all around you.
Mike Santambrogio, a trained forest bathing guide, will offer a series of invitations to help us reawaken our senses and welcome in the healing powers of nature. The practice will leave you feeling renewed and reconnected.
When: Monday, September 29 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Where: Maloit Park in Minturn, CO.
What to expect: Dress for the season in warm layers (a rain jacket or waterproof layer is recommended) and wear sturdy shoes to walk on uneven terrain that may be a bit steep and rocky in areas. We’ll primarily be standing, sitting, and walking at a leisurely pace.
Cost: Free. Registration is required.
This program is intended for humans only. While we love dogs, we kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home.
