Community Land Connection Seasonal Program: Spring Equinox Forest Bathing

March 19 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

This program is full. To add your name to the waitlist, please email

Celebrate the spring equinox with a reinvigorating forest bathing experience with Mike Santambrogio and Eagle Valley Land Trust!

The concept of forest bathing emerged from the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or “taking in the forest atmosphere.” At its core, forest bathing means spending time immersed in nature, consciously connecting with the sights, sounds, and smells all around you.

Mike Santambrogio, a trained forest bathing guide, will offer a series of invitations to help us reawaken our senses and welcome in the healing powers of nature. The practice will leave you feeling renewed and reconnected.

When: Tuesday, March 19 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Where: Eagle River Preserve in Edwards, CO.

What to expect: Dress for the season in proper layers and wear sturdy shoes to walk on snowy, mostly level terrain. We will primarily be standing and walking at a leisurely pace.

Cost: $15. Registration is required. Please note that we are unable to issue refunds.

This program is weather-dependent and intended for humans only. While we love dogs, we kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home.
