Summer Forest Bathing

July 31 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Join Eagle Valley Land Trust for a special forest bathing experience at the beautiful Eagle River Preserve!

The concept of forest bathing emerged from the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or “taking in the forest atmosphere.” At its core, forest bathing means spending time immersed in nature, consciously connecting with the sights, sounds, and smells all around you.

Jane West, a trained forest bathing guide, will offer a series of invitations to help us reawaken our senses and welcome in the healing powers of nature. The practice will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

When: Friday, July 31 from 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Where: Eagle River Preserve in Edwards.

What to expect: Dress for the season in appropriate layers and wear sturdy shoes to walk on mostly level terrain that may be rocky in areas. We’ll primarily be standing, sitting, and walking at a leisurely pace.

Cost: Free. Registration is required.

This program is weather-dependent and intended for humans only. While we love dogs, we kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home.
