2023 CLC Restoration Series: Spud Cellar Cleanup (August 8)

REGISTER HERE

Join the Eagle Valley Land Trust and the Town of Eagle for an evening of debris cleanup at the Spud Cellar property in Eagle from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, August 8th. Debris exists across the property, including impromptu forts and old fencing. Help cleanup and beautify the property located right next to several recreational areas and housing communities in the town. It’ll also be an excellent opportunity to connect with Town and EVLT staff and learn about what’s happening in the open space community.

Spud Cellar is protected forever through a partnership between the Town of Eagle and the Eagle Valley Land Trust.

When: Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Where: Spud Cellar with parking at the Pool and Ice Rink.

Bring: We will be encountering unpredictable weather and conditions in the field. Those interested should come prepared to spend two hours outside with sun protection, water, proper layers for Colorado weather, sturdy waterproof shoes, gloves, and clothing appropriate for removing debris. Food and drinks will be provided, and please bring your own bottle if possible.

Weather: This event is weather-dependent. Please check EVLT’s Facebook page or on Instagram (@eaglevalleylandtrust) on the day of the event for information if there is inclement weather.

This event is open to the public, but space is limited. Please email stewardship@evlt.org or call (970) 748-7654 for more information or if you have questions. Although we love dogs, not everyone else does especially wildlife. Please leave your furry friends at home.
