Community Land Connection Seasonal Program: Fall Equinox Forest Bathing

Celebrate the official start of autumn with a calming forest bathing experience at Maloit Park!
The concept of forest bathing emerged from the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or “taking in the forest atmosphere.” At its core, forest bathing means spending time immersed in nature, consciously connecting with the sights, sounds, smells, and textures all around you.
Mike Santambrogio, a trained forest bathing guide, will offer a series of invitations to help us reawaken our senses and welcome in the healing powers of nature. The practice will leave you feeling renewed and reconnected.
When: Monday, September 23 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Where: Maloit Park in Minturn, CO.
What to expect: Dress for the season in warm layers (a rain jacket or waterproof layer is recommended) and wear sturdy shoes to walk on uneven terrain that may be a bit steep and rocky in areas. We will primarily be standing, sitting, and walking at a leisurely pace.
Cost: $15. Registration is required. Please note that we are unable to issue refunds.
