The McCoy Springs conservation easement covers 32 acres along McCoy Creek and the hillsides above Cresta Road in the Arrowhead neighborhood. The easement protects 2.7 acres along the pristine and scenic McCoy Creek and small riparian area.
The remaining 29.3 acres features a variety of native plant communities as it rises to meet Homestead open space and US Forest Service lands. The easement protects forever a natural corridor through the area that is important for wildlife.
